The 2-channel isolated RS485 hub features two fully electrically isolated RS485 channels, each equipped with independent RS485 transceivers that ensure minimal transmission latency. Conforming to the RS485 standard, it enables transparent and protocol-agnostic RS485 message transmission, making it highly adaptable for a wide range of applications, including those based on the Modbus protocol. The uplink port of the RS485 hub, also an RS485 interface, serves as a connection point for integrating monitoring devices, such as PCs, into the network.
Each channel of this isolated RS485 hub is fortified with a robust 3kV lightning protection mechanism, optocoupler isolation, and an isolation voltage of up to 1KV. Notably, each channel has its own independent ground system. This design ensures that in the event of damage to one RS485 bus, devices connected to other RS485 buses remain safeguarded. Furthermore, each RS485 port has the capacity to support up to 128 nodes, and both the RS485 ports and power ports are equipped with 3kV lightning protection, enhancing overall system reliability and safety.
